The Nirey Hendi Professional Electric Knife Sharpener utilises the same patented cushion contact system as its bigger brother, the KE280, but uses a lighter frame, motor and transmission. It produces a razor sharp and polished edge finish that no other sharpening system can match.

There are 2 closed cell rubber covered wheels, each carrying endless abrasive belts and each side of the blade is sharpened independently. The cushion contact system produces a razor sharp and polished cutting edge which does not require honing. The KE3000 will sharpen virtually any knife – straight, curved, fluted, European and Japanese knives - to an as new or better standard. Whilst we cannot promise it will make you a better cook, having razor sharp knives for preparation and carving certainly helps.

Each machine is equipped with a pair of fine abrasive belts. Once these have worn down, the belts can be turned around and the other edge used.
