The blades are made from stainless steel. 5Cr15MoV to be exact. A type of steel that retains its sharpness well, is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen.
The handles are made from pakka wood. This is a wood and resin composite that is very wear-resistant. It's also resistant to heat, moisture and discolouration. As such, these handles are virtually maintenance-free. Nevertheless, we do not recommend putting these knives in the dishwasher. The dishwasher's high heat and strong detergents can negatively affect the pakka wood.
