It has two different sharpening stages (coarse and fine) that guarantee complete and effective sharpening results. Regardless of whether you are professional or a hobby cook, it is very easy to use.
The coarse stage is a tungsten carbide sharpener that enables you to sharpen the entire blade of your kitchen knife. It is advisable to put the blade (at its base) at a definite space, gently bringing it back towards you.
You should move the blade from its tip right up to the base. Repeat this step 5 to 6 times or less if the knife seems to be already sharpened.
Once you are done with the coarse stage, you can move to the fine stage which uses ceramic to polish the edge of your knife’s blade. Do the same movement explained before, moving the blade 6 to 8 times always applying light pressure.
